About Me
I’m 24 years old, born and raised in Central New Jersey, and in love with finding new recipes and creating new adventures. I earned my Associate’s degree in Dietetics from Middlesex County College (MCC) in May of 2017. Through hard work and dedication to my studies I was able to graduate from MCC with the Highest Academic Achievement Award. I’m currently a Dietetics student at Rutgers University (RU). As a transfer and commuter student my experiences at RU have been vastly different than many of my peers. I've been able to handle the rigorous course work at RU while working full time, at time even working two jobs. RU has taught me to use all the resources and fine tune my organizational and time management skills. I’m a Senior who is currently searching for a Dietetic Internship with a growing interest in Diabetes and Food Service Management.

I've worked for many years in the food service industry and I believe my passion for leadership and management began there. I pride myself on excellent customer service and my readiness to adapt to any situation. My leadership qualities have put me in the position of Assistant Manager at Smoothie King. I've been able to apply the skills I've gained in my time in food service and utilize them in a clinical setting at Parker, a long term care and rehabilitation facility. During my time at Parker, I worked with a team of RDs, cooks, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to meet the quality standards during meal times. Through my professional experiences I've been able to apply what I learn in the classroom in real life and get hands on experiences I would not get through classroom education.
Through the field of Dietetics I am able to use my love for food, learning, and adventure to create experiences that showcase my skills and abilities. I’ve been able to experience some amazing things and cannot wait to see what the world of nutrition and dietetics has in-store for me.
